I’ve debated with myself whether to post about this, but why not? It might help motivate me.
Next month, I’m gonna take part in NaNoWriMo. My goal is to finish the entire first draft of my non-Winx AU Aisha/Nex fanfic Baby Steps.
I’m sure most of you know what NaNoWriMo is, but let me explain it to the two people who don’t. NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month. Each November, writers all over the world challenge themselves to write 50,000 words of a novel in 30 days (about 1700 words a day). You may not end up with a story that’s ready for primetime, but you’ll have a manuscript you can polish into something dazzling.
I’ve never done NaNoWriMo before, but a month of writing, something I’m good at, shouldn’t be too bad, right?
…Right?
